RocGrowth Candids is a bi-monthly event featuring local entrepreneurs who share their personal stories and lessons learned building successful businesses.

The November Candids features Elisa Miller-Out and Kathryn Cartini, accomplished entrepreneurs and founders of Chloe Capital. Residents of Ithaca and Saratoga Springs, they have launched a New York-based early stage venture capital firm. Their tagline is: “Investing in Impact: For Women, By Women.”

Miller-Out is an entrepreneur, investor and community builder. She’s currently COO of Women 2.0 and co-founder of PollQ, a chatbot startup.

After graduating from the Newhouse Program at Syracuse University, Cartini began her career in television broadcasting.

Chloe Capital focuses on supporting “technology and tech-enabled companies with talented, hard-working, diverse teams,” officials describe on their website. “We make seed-stage investments in promising companies and use our networks and experience to help them grow.”
